BLACK WOOD is a third-person action shooter developed by AttritoM7 Productions, an independent game studio based in Bangladesh.

According to early trailers, gameplay clips, and publicly available information released on the studio’s YouTube channel, the game is set in New York City in 2012. Players take on the role of the protagonist, Anton Blackwood, a man living a double life: by day, he runs an ordinary DVD rental store; by night, he transforms into a cold-blooded assassin, deeply entangled in the city’s underworld, connected to various gangs, and carrying out high-stakes assassination contracts.
Visually and thematically, BLACK WOOD evokes titles like Mafia and Watch Dogs, but it is far more than a conventional shooter. The developers have skillfully blended close-quarters grappling, hand-to-hand combat, and firearms into a seamless system, featuring fluid and cinematic takedown animations. During firefights, players can directly interact with the environment—for example, using car doors, walls, or other objects as cover—greatly enhancing both realism and tactical depth.
The game maintains a fast-paced rhythm, with highly agile character movement: rolls, slides, dives, and other dynamic maneuvers flow together seamlessly, immersing players in intense, movie-like gunplay.
The game is already available on Steam, where players can add it to their wishlist. While no exact release date has been announced, it is currently expected to launch in 2026 (subject to official confirmation).
