What’s in this video
I woke up in a small grove with a few houses standing not far off.
As I drew closer, the distant crackle of gunfire echoed through the air, like someone was taking potshots at something. Then came the real shock: I saw them with my own eyes. Zombies. Non-human, undead monsters.
I have no idea what happened to this place, but one thing remains crystal clear in my mind—my name is GAMEAY, and I used to be a cop.
Right now, all I’ve got is a single combat knife. Those zombies look brutal and fast; they aren’t the kind of enemies you want to mess with. I don’t know how I ended up here, but my only objective now is to stay alive.

Used under fair use for commentary, criticism, and educational purposes.
I decided to loot the nearby houses for supplies. While I was moving in, the aggro triggered—a pack of zombies spotted me and rushed. In a panic, I vaulted onto the roof of a wrecked car.
That’s when I discovered a major “exploit”: these zombies can’t climb or jump onto high ground. Standing on that car, I was completely safe. This “height advantage” is going to be my go-to meta for survival.
After cheesing a few zombies from the roof, my luck took a turn for the better. Inside one of the houses, I found a backpack, a tier of body armor, some civilian clothes, and a bit of food. In this game of survival, these are literal lifesavers.
By the time I finished looting, the distant gunfire had faded. I wasn’t about to risk a scout mission to check it out. My priority is strictly hoarding resources right now.

I tried taking the zombies head-on with my knife, but with my current stats and stamina, I’m no match—their attack speed and damage output are way beyond mine. I have to rely on the high-ground strat to take them down. It’s not cheating; it’s survival. Whatever keeps me breathing is a valid tactic.
Next, I need to observe and learn their pathing and ability sets. Mastering their behavior patterns is the only way I’ll survive the long game. As for getting back to the “real world”… honestly, it feels impossible. But no matter what, I’m going all-in on staying alive.
I’m not sure where it came from, but I found a full world map in my inventory. It shows the locations of Safe Zones, but it doesn’t show my current player coordinates. It looks like I’ll need to find a GPS satellite phone to fix that.
While I was traveling, I heard the roar of a transport plane overhead. Are they scanning for players? Or is that a supply drop? I have no clue. But one thing’s for sure: I’m not the only human left. I need to find other survivors.
Then again, in a world this broken, nothing is normal. Will other survivors be hostile? That’s my biggest worry, so I have to stay stealthy.

A bit later, I heard more shots. Out of curiosity, I crept closer to see the action. Hiding behind a tree, I saw a group of armed NPCs locked in a firefight with a horde. The battle was happening at a Police Station, and with my current gear score, there was no way I could jump in.
Eventually, the survivors were wiped out. Luckily, I managed to kite and clear the remaining zombies and looted the bodies. Most importantly, I picked up a few rifles from the fallen survivors—a massive upgrade.
There are still some gun lockers on the second floor of the station, but my lockpicking/skill level isn’t high enough yet. I’ll have to backtrack here later.
Right next to the station is a small town. I’m torn: the town definitely has high-tier loot, but the danger level is through the roof. After hitting a grocery store, I decided to extract and head toward the Safe Zone marked on my map.

After a long grind across the map, I finally hit the Safe Zone. It’s a settlement built by friendly NPCs, and it feels actually secure. It’s small, but it has everything I need: a water source, a bed to save/rest, a Trader for gear, other NPCs to talk to, and even a dog.
I finally felt the tension drop, and the fear started to fade. But I know this isn’t the endgame—it’s just the beginning. With the support of this camp, I can gear up properly. My goal is to figure out the lore of what happened to this world. After a quick rest, I’m heading back out to scavenge for more mats to share with the camp.
Right behind the Safe Zone is a highway surrounded by buildings. I hadn’t gone far before I ran into a massive Shopping Mall, but it was crawling with zombies.
I sneaked in and climbed onto a wrecked bus to scout. That’s when I saw it at the parking lot entrance: a massive Boss-tier zombie. I was paralyzed. I’ve learned the move sets of the common mobs, but I’ve never seen a mutant that big.

After clearing out the smaller enemies, I entered the mall to start looting. Suddenly, an RNG nightmare happened: a few zombies spawned or came out of nowhere and lunged at me.
Instinct kicked in—I turned and bolted for high ground, barely making it onto a car roof. I almost lost my run right there. Once I was safe on the roof, I popped some bandages to heal up, then finished off the zombies camping at the bottom. I finally caught my breath.
The mall is huge with top-tier loot density; it took me ages to clear the place. Somehow, I actually missed the most important Supply Crate—I didn’t even notice it until I did a second run later.
I’ve been in this world for 3 days now. There’s still a long way to go, and I have no idea what’s coming next. But the main quest remains the same: Stay alive.
