Palworld Mining Guide – Best Ore Locations with Coords

Looking for a fast way to stock up on essentials in Palworld? Here is a breakdown of high-density mining locations—complete with exact coordinates—including several spots that are easy for beginners to access early on, as well as great options for emergency resource runs later.
Published: August 4, 2026 | Updated: August 4, 2026

Here is a quick guide to some of the best early-to-mid game mining spots in Palworld. These locations have a high density of nodes and easy fast-travel access, making them great for beginners looking to gather resources early on or to stock up in a pinch later.

While you can eventually build mining facilities in your base, heading out into the wild is often much faster and more convenient—especially if your tech tree isn’t fully leveled up yet. If you need a quick influx of ores but lack the materials to upgrade your base, these spots will be a lifesaver.

There are plenty of mining sites across the map, but if you’re new to the game, these locations are a solid place to start.

Tip: I highly recommend bringing a Flying Pal for some of these spots, as climbing up mountains can be a real hassle.

Stone

The most basic resource in the game, and it’s everywhere. You’ll find plenty right at the spawn point. Since I set up my first base at the Hill of Beginnings, I’ll use this location as an example (check the screenshot).

Ore

Like Stone, Ore is widely scattered across the map, but I found a spot with a high node density surrounded by trees. It’s an ideal location for a second base, allowing you to farm both Ore and Wood efficiently.

  • Location: Just southeast of the Windswept Island Watchtower.
  • Coordinates: Around 8, -530 (see screenshot for the exact marker).

Coal

You might not pay much attention to Coal early on, but you’ll need a ton of it late game. I found a fantastic farming spot for it:

  • Location: Near the Anubis Dunes.
  • Coordinates: -128, -80.

There’s a generous amount of Coal here, and chopping down the nearby trees yields High-Quality Wood, saving you a trip to the snow biome. Just a bit further ahead, you’ll find even more Coal nodes alongside a large open area—making it another great candidate for a base location.

Sulfur

While node density isn’t super high here, it’s more than enough for your needs—and most importantly, it’s extremely convenient.

  • Location: Right next to the Eternal Pyre Tower Entrance fast travel point.
  • Coordinates: Around -592, -532.

This spot is located on a volcanic crater. If you walk halfway around the ridge, you’ll also find plenty of regular Ore nodes to mine at the same time.

Pure Quartz

You’ll need to head into the snowy region for this one.

  • Location: Just below the Astral Mountains Garden Watchtower.
  • Coordinates: Around -258, 399 (marked on the map screenshot).

This area features plenty of Pure Quartz nodes, along with a few Ore and Coal nodes you can grab on the side.

Note: Level 46 Ice-type Pals like Wumpo spawn here. They seem non-hostile by default, but I’m not 100% sure if they will aggro on lower-level players, so stay cautious. Overall, it’s a relatively safe spot.

Hexolite Quartz

  • Location: Near the Emberstone Plateau fast travel point.
  • Coordinates: -716, -1195.

The nodes are somewhat spread out here, but simply walking along the road while mining should give you plenty. If you head further past the fast travel point, you’ll find a cave entrance on a platform at -762, -1195. The interior is packed with Hexagonal Quartz for heavy farming—just keep an eye out for hazards inside.

Soralite Ore mining site: clusters of pale blue, glowing ore—spherical or lumpy in shape—are scattered across the ground, embedded in gray-brown soil and gravel, with sparse vegetation and distant mountains in the background.

Soralite Ore

A mid-to-late game material located in a very specific spot. You must have a Flying Pal to reach it, as it sits on an island floating in the sky.

  • Coordinates: Around -548, -1416.

Mining Sunite Ore normally requires a specialized tool (the Standard Cutter). I hadn’t crafted one yet when I visited, but the Penking in my party had a Mining suitability skill and started mining it automatically. I just stood by and waited, though the process was a bit slow. I haven’t tested whether other Pals with Mining skill can gather it, but theoretically, they should work too.

That’s pretty much it! Palworld has a massive map, so these are really just a few of the spots I’ve come across and found helpful during my own playthrough.

By no means are these the “only” or “best” locations out there—everyone has their favorite setups and routes! Hope this helps make your resource gathering a little easier. Happy mining!
