Today I want to cover two bosses that can be a real headache to track down: Splatterina and Prixter Lux.
Even though both have icons marked on the map, running straight to the marker won’t get you anywhere—especially for Splatterina. I ran in circles for a long time trying to figure this out, and only got it sorted out recently while clearing every boss on the map.
Here are the exact cave entrance locations so you don’t have to waste time wandering around.
Most other bosses in the game spawn directly on their icon or in an obvious nearby cave, so I won’t bother listing those here.
1. Splatterina (Level 65): Requires the “Bloodstained Tunnel” Prerequisite First
This is easily the trickiest prerequisite cave to spot. Before heading out, bring a flying mount—the elevation changes in this area are brutal, and climbing on foot takes forever.

The map shows Splatterina’s icon, but the boss will not spawn until you clear the prerequisite condition. You first need to locate a hidden cave (coordinates: -1206, -1392).
This cave is actually quite far from where the boss icon sits on the map. Inside, you’ll find an EXP tower, two treasure chests, and a regular (non-boss) Splatterina.
Defeat this regular Splatterina, then head back to the cliff location marked on your map at night (the boss only spawns nighttime). That’s when the real Boss-level Splatterina finally appears.
2. Prixter Lux (Level 70): Tucked Away in the Cave Beneath the Marker
Prixter Lux sits at Level 70 on an isolated island packed with Electric-type Pals. Make sure you’re running a solid late-game build and team before heading over.
Unlike Splatterina, Prixter Lux is right on the island—just not on the surface level where the map icon points. It’s hidden in the cave system directly underneath the icon. If you keep running into normal, non-boss versions on the surface, it just means you haven’t gone underground yet.
There are two entrances to the boss cave:
- Northern Beach Entrance: Located along the northern shore. It’s fairly easy to spot if you fly around the coast, but it’s a bit of a trek from the fast travel point.
- Plaza Drop-Down Entrance: Located right beside the open plaza area near the boss icon. It’s a vertical shaft that drops you straight into the boss room.
I highly recommend using the southern drop-down entrance. It’s super convenient—even though the fast travel point is down on the beach, you just need to head up the cliff ledge right nearby and you’ll spot the opening.
Prixter Lux is one of the strongest Electric-type Pals in the game, so bring plenty of high-tier spheres to catch it if you can.
